COWANS SHELDON 75 TON CRANE

Cowan Sheldon and Company formed from a partnership between John Cowans and Edward Sheldon in the mid 1800's producing all types of cranes for growing
industries including the railways. As part of the 1950's Modernisation Plan British Railways placed an order for twelve steam powered 75 ton cranes on
11th November 1959. By mid 1970's ten of the original steam powered cranes were converted to diesel-hydraulic and repainted in engineering yellow

These cranes are printed in super high definition resin, which faithfully brings out all the rivet and bogie details. This is supplied as a kit, which includes brass pinpoint bearings, wheels, detailed fret for grills, ladders and hand rails, and water slide decals. All that is required is glue and paint.

There are two versions, Steam and Diesel thus covering the period from the early 1960's through to the mid 1990's. Basic instructions are included and you don't
need to be an experienced builder. It is advisable to do some research and there is alot of resorses available on the internet

Please note that due to licencing requirements all purchases have to me made through the N Gauge Forum
